Date Calculator
Add days, weeks or months to a date, or count the gap between two dates.
A stopwatch with lap times and a countdown timer with an alarm.

Stopwatch and Timer gives you both halves of everyday timing in one page. The stopwatch counts up from zero to hundredths of a second and records lap times, with each lap showing both its own duration and the total elapsed when it was taken. The countdown timer counts down from a duration you set and sounds an alarm when it reaches zero.
Timing is based on the system clock rather than on counting intervals, so the elapsed time stays accurate even if the browser throttles the page in a background tab. A naive timer that simply adds ten milliseconds per tick drifts badly when a tab loses focus, which is exactly when you are least likely to notice.
Preset buttons cover the common durations, including the twenty-five minute focus block people use for the Pomodoro technique. The alarm is generated by your browser's audio engine, so there is no file to download and nothing to load when the timer finishes.
The stopwatch and timer is used by writers, developers, students, marketers and anyone else who needs the job done once without installing software. Common cases include:
Yes. Timing is calculated from the system clock rather than by counting ticks, so the elapsed and remaining times stay correct even when a background tab is throttled by the browser.
Usually. Some browsers restrict audio in background tabs until you have interacted with the page, which starting the timer counts as. The page title also updates with the remaining time, so a glance at the tab shows where you are.
It is the focus block from the Pomodoro technique: work for twenty-five minutes, then take a short break. The preset is there because it is the most commonly requested duration, not because the method is required.
A lap is the time since the previous lap was recorded. A split is the total elapsed at that moment. Both are shown for each lap, because runners and swimmers use them differently.
To within a few milliseconds, limited by how often the browser can repaint. That is more than accurate enough for exercise, cooking and presentations, and not a substitute for proper timing equipment in competition.
No. Laps and timer settings live only in the page and are cleared when you close or reload it.
If the stopwatch and timer is not quite what you need, these other free tools solve closely related problems.
